Liverpool see off Atletico Madrid
Liverpool and Atletico Madrid went head-to-head in a Champions League group stage tie on Tuesday.
The tie was perhaps the most entertaining affair of the evening, with Liverpool eventually coming out on top in the game.
The away outfit did take an early two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita.

But just as it looked as though Liverpool would run away with the game, Antoine Griezmann netted in the 20th and 34th minute to make it 2-2 heading into the break.
The match was then turned on its head shortly into the second half when Griezmann was shown a straight red card.

Liverpool would go on to eventually pick up the win after Mario Hermoso gave away a penalty, which Salah stepped up to convert.
What Fernando Torres did after Liverpool’s match with Atletico
Now, following the game, an insight into what Fernando Torres did post-match has been provided.
Torres is of course a legend at both Liverpool and Atletico and is now a coach in the latter’s academy.
Torres would be present for the UEFA Youth League match between the two sides earlier on Tuesday and then watched the senior sides clash at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Following the game, the Liverpool Echo have reported that Torres was captured greeting some of the current Liverpool squad after the final whistle, including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota. The former striker is also said to have spoken to Jordan Henderson, while Virgil van Dijk posed for photos with Torres’ son, Leo.
