Arsenal’s summer clearout
Arsenal have been looking to trim their squad all summer long, but with two days to go in the transfer window, still have plenty of work to do. Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Dinos Mavropanos and William Saliba have all left the club so far, although Torreira and Saliba have only departed on loan.
Good luck with @ACFFiorentina, @LTorreira34 💪

In addition, Willian is thought to be set to depart the club for Brazilian outfit Corinthians, just 12 months after joining the Gunners.
After six days negotiations… Willian to Corinthians, agreement reached and here-we-go soon! Paperworks to be signed on Monday, last details to be sorted and then Willian will travel to Brazil to sign with Timão. 🛩🇧🇷 #Corinthians

However, there is still plenty to achieve in the final days of the window on the outgoings front, with the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Hector Bellerin and Reiss Nelson all available to leave.
Maitland-Niles in talk with Everton
As per the reliable David Ornstein, one of those shown the exit door before tomorrow night could yet be Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who is in talks with Everton.
🚨 Everton in talks with Arsenal for a deal to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan with an option to buy. Offer submitted, Arsenal considering internally before responding. Talks ongoing. Versatile 24yo under contract at #AFC until 2023 @TheAthleticUK #EFC https://t.co/Ayw5mmbm7k

As per The Athletic, the deal would be an initial loan with an option to buy at the end, although no potential fee is mentioned. Maitland-Niles spent the second half of last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, where he played in central midfield, but reliable Liverpool journalist Paul Joyce has suggested that Everton view the man as an option at right-back.
Everton have made a bid for Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Loan with option. Club would see him adding competition at right-back

Having refused to play at right-back for the Gunners, the feasibility of any potential deal must be questioned.
